Portable X-ray generators
BEST WEIGHT TO POWER RATIO IN THE WORLD
Teledyne ICM’s CPSERIES has been designed with a view to revolutionizing the handling and performances of portable X-ray sets. Despite having managed to halve the weight of similar portable X-Ray generators available on the market (while continuing to provide the same power output), the CPSERIES generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window, an aluminum filter, and two integrated diaphragms.
Portable Digital Detectors
ENTER INTO THE NEW WORLD OF DIGITAL INSPECTION
Rugged, faster, and providing outstanding image quality, discover GO-SCAN Series. They combine the best X-ray detectors technology, user-friendly imaging software and X-ray generator for your application on the field.
Sherlock NDT software

FAQ
What is the maximum distance the generator and the detector can be placed to maintain Wi-Fi connection?
We have tested and validated a maximum distance of 50 meters in an open field.
How important is the focal spot size?
The focal spot size is crucial for image quality, reducing focal distance, and thus exposure time and safety perimeter. For more information, please refer to our dedicated article on the advantages of a small focal spot.
How long can I shoot X-ray with my CPBattery generator?
The maximum exposure time for a single exposure is limited to 900 seconds. Generally, without any cooling assistance and at an ambient temperature of 20°C, the CP120B can achieve a total exposure time of 15 minutes per 2.5 hours of cooling. The CP160B can operate for a total exposure time of 15 minutes for every 2 hours of cooling. The exact duty cycle will depend on the rate of cooling.
Is there any maintenance required for the generator?
As the manufacturer, we do not require any specific maintenance. It depends on your industry and local policies. Apart from standard preventive maintenance, Teledyne ICM generators are designed to remain operational and stable over time. However, local regulations in some countries or industries may require annual inspections. Contact us to find the nearest service center.
If I already have a digital detector, can I purchase a Teledyne ICM X-Ray generator?
Yes, our constant potential X-Ray generators (CPSeries and CPBattery) are compatible with all digital detectors on the market.
Are the detectors compatible with gamma rays?
The detectors compatible with gamma rays are the Go-Scan 2329, 3025, 4335, as well as our bendable detector range, the Go-Scan 1025B and 1043B.
What is included in the Sherlock NDT license?
The Sherlock NDT license includes detector and Teledyne ICM generator control, professional image processing, and all the tools necessary to comply with ASME Section V, ISO 17636-2, and ASTM 2698 standards. For more information about Sherlock NDT, feel free to contact us.
Does Sherlock NDT comply with general standards?
Sherlock NDT complies with numerous international standards, including ISO 17636-2 and ASTM E2698, which are among the most widely used. For any other standards, please contact us to ensure compatibility.
Can I import DCM/DICONDE images taken with other software into Sherlock NDT?
Yes, if the DCM/DICONDE format is respected.
If I already have a generator, can I purchase a Teledyne ICM detector?
Yes, the software is designed to work with any type of X-ray and gamma source. Integration will be more complete with a Teledyne ICM generator, thanks to automatic calibration and synchronization of generator parameters.
