Go-Scan C-View
REAL TIME X-RAY IMAGING
Go-Scan C-view is a light weight ruggedized real time X-ray imaging system specifically designed for hand-held inspection such, among other, Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) inspection. It includes a high speed and high resolution CMOS imager and a battery-operated 70kV x-ray tube designed for portable field operation. The video imaging system captures images and displays them on a hand held display in real-time.
Can the C-View penetrate the cladding I want to inspect?
The Go-Scan C-View can penetrate cladding for most pipes up to 26 inches in diameter.
What is the maximum pipe size I can inspect?
The maximum pipe size that can be inspected is 25 inches in diameter. There is no minimum size requirement.
What types of inspections can be performed with the C-View? What types of defects can be detected?
The Go-Scan C-View can detect various defects such as flaking scale, pitting corrosion, water damage and moisture inside the insulation where the welds are located.
What are the environmental conditions for using the C-View?
Operating temperature: -20°C to +50°C / -4°F to +122°F
Storage temperature: -30°C to +60°C / -22°F to +140°F
IP rating: IP65
Humidity: 20% – 80% R.H.
What is the battery life?
Battery life is a minimum of 1h15 in continuous use with a 5 Ah battery.
Can we perform rope access?
Yes, the Go-Scan C-View supports rope access with two attachment points located on its arms. These attachment points are installed by default with the standard package.
Do we have a stabilizer accessory?
Yes, we have developed a stabilizer accessory that helps secure the Go-Scan C-View on the pipe, making the operator's job easier and producing more precise images for better defect identification. For more information on the C-View accessories, visit the product page.
